Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy

What is ABA Therapy?

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is a scientifically-based approach used to help individuals, particularly those with autism, develop and improve specific behaviors. It focuses on teaching new skills, increasing positive behaviors, and reducing unwanted behaviors by using reinforcement techniques and systematic interventions. ABA is personalized to each individual’s needs and typically involves working with trained therapists to achieve measurable progress.

What Our ABA Therapy Includes:

1-1 Individualized Sessions

Support sessions where a therapist works directly with a client, focusing solely on their unique needs, goals, and progress. These sessions are tailored specifically to the individual, ensuring personalized attention and a customized approach for optimal development or improvement.make a difference in our community.

Parent Collaboration Support Involvement

Actively engaging parents in their child's therapy or treatment process. This approach involves working together with parents to share insights, set goals, and track progress. Parents are encouraged to be part of the decision-making, offering valuable input to ensure the treatment plan is effective and consistent, both in therapy sessions and at home. This collaborative effort helps improve outcomes for the child and strengthens the parent-child relationship.

Social Skills Groups

Structured sessions where individuals, often children or teens, practice and develop essential social skills in a group setting. These groups focus on teaching skills like communication, making friends, problem-solving, managing emotions, and understanding social cues. The goal is to help participants build confidence in social interactions and improve their ability to engage with peers in a variety of social situations. These groups may be led by therapists or trained professionals and are commonly used for individuals with autism or other developmental disorders.
